Planetary aspects in motion

Two years of celestial geometry

Aspects Stream animates two years of planetary aspects on a geocentric zodiac wheel. An aspect forms when two planets meet at a precise angle as seen from Earth; here the angles form, tighten and dissolve day by day instead of freezing into a single chart. Filters let you choose which planets and aspect types to follow.

How to read it

In astrology, an aspect forms when two planets meet at a precise angle as seen from Earth. Here you can observe how these angles form, intensify and dissolve — day by day, over the next two years. Not as a snapshot, but as a living process.

The wheel is the geocentric zodiac — the sky as seen from Earth. When two planets reach the exact angle, the line connecting them appears. The brighter it is, the more precise the aspect.

To keep the wheel uncluttered, only four planets are active at start — the Sun, the Moon, Mercury and Saturn: the Moon is fast, the Sun and Mercury middling, Saturn slow, so you can immediately compare different rhythms. With the Moon active there is almost always some aspect on stage: it forms and dissolves within hours, while Saturn's last for weeks. Use the filters below the wheel to include or exclude planets and aspect types.
